  The 28 May, 1975 article in Newsweek magazine
contributed by Daniel Spahn USN,
which gives the highlights of what happened
before, during, and after the Mayaguez/Koh Tang operation.
  The 26 May, 1975 article in Time magazine
contributed by Dan Hoffman which gives the
highlights of what happened more from the
administration's point.
  The 1 December, 1977 article in Rolling Stone Magazine
contributed by John "JJ" Hamrin, a seaman on the U.S.S. Holt,
(the one with the aft helo deck the Air Force pilots had to hover
over to drop off wounded), which gives a little more of the
political maneuvering of the Ford Administration during the
Mayaguez/Koh Tang op, and some of the resultant effects on
the Mayaguez crewmen later on.
  Hoffman strikes again! 1975 article in Leatherneck(?) magazine
entitled "If it hadn't been for those Marines...", which gives
another account of what happened.
  First article in the 14 May, 1975 Stars & Stripes newspaper,
contributed by Russ Lee, an Air Force Missile Tech
who was helping to arm F-4 fighters in northern Thailand
during the Koh Tang catastrophe. His efforts, and the efforts
of others that day, kept a lot of Marines alive.
